ESL Actvity: 20

Hello visitors, in this post you will find an activity that can be used either as a warmer or a filler in your class.

You do not need any material for this activity.

-Instructions-
1) The teacher asks students to stand up and make a circle in the middle of the classroom.
2) The teacher gives them 30 seconds to look at the students next to them.
3) After that, the teacher asks them to close their eyes and he / she will touch somebody on the head. This student has to say 'one'.
4) The student next to him / her (either left or right side, is your choice) has to say 'two', the following one 'three', and so forth.
5) The game continues until they reach 20 but if someones does not say the correct number, the game starts again from scratch.

You can modify this game by saying that they can keep counting until someone makes a mistake or they can count backwards. Use your imagination.
