ESL Activity: Bang!

Hello visitors, today I will share with you a fun activity that will help to review vocabulary or pronunciation. The game is called Bang!

For this activity, you will need a container (it can be a small basket or  a bag) and pieces of paper where the words are written.

-Instructions-

1) The teacher divides the class into teams (2 or 3). And asks team 1 to make a line in front or him.

2) The teacher puts into te container the words, but in 3 papers he / she writes the word Bang! and includes them in the container.

3) The teacher sets the amount of time, 1 or 2 minutes, and the first team starts.

4) Each student from the team has to take out a word from the basket and either has to say a sentence with that word or pronunce it correctly.
If he does, he can keep the paper, if does not, he returns it to the basket.

When someone from the team takes out the paper with the Bang! word, ALL the papers are returned to the basket and they have to start again with the remaining time.

5) The following teams do the same. The team which has more papers is the winner.

You can do several rounds and only include one Bang! paper. This will make the game funnier.
